On October 16th 2021 the Kendall-Whittier Arts Festival was held. Local artists, vendors, food trucks, live music and activities for all the family. The event was centered at the Historic Whittier Square and parking lot where my capstone project will be.
Like always, Jessica and Sydney from KWMS non-profit let me promote the Photovoice activity and my project in general in their booth.
A lot of friendly and known faces visited the booth, one of them was Juan Miret (From San Miguel Middle School) who was the one who took the photo below.

El 16 de Octubre de 2021 se llevó a cabo el Festival de Arte en Kendall-Whittier. Artistas locales, vendedores, food trucks, música en vivo y actividades para toda la familia no faltaron. El evento se centró en el histórico Whittier Square y el estacionamiento donde estará mi proyecto final. Como siempre, Jessica y Sydney de KWMS sin fines de lucro me dejaron promover la actividad de Fotovoces y mi proyecto en general en su stand.
Un montón de rostros conocidos y amables visitaron el stand, uno de ellos fue Juan Miret (De la Escuela San Miguel) quien fue quien tomó la foto de abajo.
