Photovoice is a participatory photographic research method.
It asks neighbors to take photographs that represent their individual perspectives and lived experiences. These pictures are then shared back with others and discussed to discover connecting themes. Narratives or stories explaining the significance of the pictures can be attached to the photographs, but all efforts are used to maintain confidentiality among research participants and researchers when results are shared with broader audiences.
I will reflect on all the data collected with the hope that I will gain a deeper understanding of Kendall-Whittier's community and feel the concerns and emotions of its residents.

Fotovoces es un método de investigación fotográfica participativa. Pide a los vecinos que tomen fotografías que representen sus perspectivas individuales y experiencias vividas. Estas imágenes luego se comparten con otros y se discuten para descubrir temas relacionados. Se pueden adjuntar a las fotografías narrativas o historias que expliquen el significado de las imágenes, pero se utilizan todos los esfuerzos para mantener la confidencialidad entre los participantes de la investigación y los investigadores cuando los resultados se comparten con un público más amplio.
Reflexionaré sobre todos los datos recopilados con la esperanza de obtener una comprensión más profunda de la comunidad de Kendall-Whittier y sentir las preocupaciones y emociones de sus residentes.
